You can log food in the same conversation you use for everything else in NOYU. Send a photo or describe what you ate, and NOYU will turn it into a meal you can review and edit.
Log a meal
Send NOYU either:
- A clear photo of your meal
- A message such as “Porridge with blueberries, Greek yoghurt and a spoon of peanut butter”
- A correction or extra detail, such as “The yoghurt was about 200g”
NOYU identifies the foods and portions, assesses food quality and estimates calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat and fibre where it can.
These are estimates, especially when a portion is hidden in a photo or a recipe is unclear. You stay in control of the saved meal.
Edit the meal details
Open the meal from your timeline or nutrition view, then choose Edit meal from the menu.
You can change the meal name, meal type, time and notes. Save your changes when the details look right.
Correct a food or portion
Open the meal and select a food to change its quantity or unit. You can also add a missing food or remove one that NOYU identified incorrectly.
Changing a quantity updates the meal totals. Changing the unit may cause NOYU to estimate the nutrition again so the figures stay consistent with the new portion.
Log the same meal again
If you often eat the same thing, open the previous meal and choose Log again. NOYU creates a new meal with the same foods, which you can adjust before or after saving.
Remove a meal
Open the meal menu and choose Remove meal. Use this when the whole entry was logged by mistake. If only one part is wrong, editing the individual food keeps the rest of the meal intact.
