Cardio sessions NOYU builds

Pick a session type, check the length, send it to your watch.

Open Cardio and choose Start. NOYU builds a structured session for a Run, Bike, Rower, Ski erg or Elliptical.

Session types

  • Easy: easy aerobic work.
  • Long: build endurance. Running only.
  • Tempo: a steady, hard effort.
  • Intervals: short hard efforts with recovery between them.
  • Time trial: test your current fitness. Running only.

Tempo, interval and time trial sessions include a ten minute warm-up and a five minute cool-down, so the main block is shorter than the total. Each session targets a heart-rate zone. NOYU offers a pace instead when your recent running pace is consistent enough to trust.

Recommended is an easy session at the typical length of your cardio from the last seven days, or 40 minutes if you have none. NOYU shortens it when your Cardio Load is running well ahead of what you have built up, and keeps it between 30 and 60 minutes. Change it before sending if you want.

Sending it to your watch

Review the steps, then Send to device to send it now or Plan for later to pick a date. Either way it appears under Planned. See Planned workouts on your watch for supported devices.
