Add the exercises and sets your wearable cannot see. A watch can show that training happened, but a strength session tells NOYU what you actually did.
Strength logging lives in Training, alongside your cardio work.
Log a strength session
Tap + on Training and choose Start strength. Repeat a past workout, pick a Full body, Upper body or Lower body workout, or tap Build your own. Choose Describe it to say what you want, such as "45 minutes, legs and core, dumbbells only", and NOYU builds it for you to check, change and start. Choose Choose exercises to pick every exercise yourself; each starts with 3 sets of 8 to 12 repetitions, which you change before you start. Add each exercise, then record the fields that fit it, such as load and repetitions, time, distance, or repetitions completed within a time.
Tick a set when it is complete. You can mark it as a warm-up, normal, failure or drop set. A failure set records repetitions you fully completed. If you completed none, leave the set incomplete and add a note rather than recording a repetition that did not happen.
Choose Finish when the session is done. Incomplete sets stay visible but do not count as performed work.
Your draft saves after each confirmed change, so you can leave the page and continue it from Home or Training.
If a session stays open for more than 12 hours, NOYU treats it as forgotten. Its card shows when it started, with Save what you did and Discard, and suggestions come back while it waits.
Log a workout you did earlier
In Calendar, tap + on the day you trained and choose Strength. Pick what you did, such as a repeat of a recent workout or a template, then choose Log and tick the sets. Or tap Build your own to describe it or choose the exercises. When you save, check When and change it if the time is wrong.
Start a planned workout
Open a strength workout planned for today in Calendar or Training and choose Start, or tap it under Planned today on Home. Either opens the workout to check before it begins. After you finish, the workout's page shows the plan with Mark complete. NOYU never marks a plan complete for you.
See your records
Records on Strength shows your best recent lifts. Choose All records for every exercise.
Use kilograms or pounds
Your exercise library has a default unit of kilograms or pounds. You can also change the unit for one exercise without changing the rest.
NOYU keeps the value and unit you entered. This means a set recorded in pounds still appears in pounds when you return to it.
Rate how hard a set was
Turn on Track RPE in your strength settings, or Show RPE in a session, to add an RPE column beside your sets. RPE is rated from 6 to 10 in half steps: 10 means you could not have done another repetition, 9 means one was left, 8 means two, and so on down to 6.
You can also rate a whole workout from 1 to 10 under How it went on its activity page. NOYU reads that session effort alongside your sets and repetitions.
Build a workout ahead of time
A template is a workout you build before you train, with its exercises and target sets. Tap + on Training and choose Create a template, or open a finished workout's menu and choose Save as template.
Start a template from Start strength whenever you are ready. To plan it for a day, tap + on that day in Calendar, choose Strength and pick the template.
Starting a template creates a separate session. Changing the template later does not rewrite a session you already logged, and its targets do not count as performed work until you complete the new sets.
Add exercises to a wearable workout
If a compatible workout has already arrived from your wearable, open that activity and choose Add exercises. NOYU keeps the wearable's timing and heart-rate data, then adds your exercises and sets to the same workout.
If you logged the strength session separately, NOYU links it to your wearable's workout when exactly one recorded at the same time. Otherwise, open the session's activity page and choose Link activity from its options. Linking keeps one workout in your activity history rather than showing both.
What NOYU can learn from it
Completed strength sessions give NOYU more context about your training, including the exercises performed, completed sets and repetitions, and the loads you entered. NOYU can compare later sessions with your own earlier performance and use that context alongside recovery, sleep and other health data.
This record does not tell NOYU whether your technique was safe or diagnose an injury. It is evidence of the work you logged, not proof that one programme caused a change.
